24-year-old retail worker refuses to buy gifts for entitled sister's kids: 'No respect for the retail worker, no retail perks'

One older sister has ruined her own chances of getting cheap gifts this year. She could've easily gotten some excellent prices through her younger sister's job, but she insisted on being impolite. 

Some people, like the older sister in this story, think that retail work isn't "hard work." That couldn't be further from the truth! Of course, working at a store is a real job, and employees might even break a sweat while working. There are clothes to fold, customers to assist, boxes to unpack, floors to sweep, merchandise to place on shelves, and much more. And aside from just the physical aspects of the job, employees will spend a lot of time problem-solving with their customers. It's certainly not a "kiddie job," as this person's big sister insisted it was. She probably knows it's not really a kiddie job, and was just trying to get her sister to react to her. Now is the time of year many retailers are hiring seasonal employees (I will admit I don't know if this is true this year with the current situation), if she wanted discounts that badly maybe she should have "lowered" herself and gotten a retail job, especially if she doesn't have a job and money is that tight.
